The Duck Pond

Golden Gardens in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood is a wonderful place to paint and sketch out of doors.  Mostly a beach on Puget Sound, it also has a ravishing duck pond full of beaver activity and resident herons.  This was sketched in oil on panel on a lucky day, not too hot, not too cold!
